“The Paddock talk is that there was a vote in the FIA Touringcar Commission last week. The TCR technical regulations would go under FIA umbrella and TCR International would stop, so that we get best teams and drivers from TCR International and WTCC on the same grid next year, under FIA and Eurosport Events umbrella. Reunification would be great news for Touring car racing and fans around the world. All the involved look optimistic that there will be an announcement after the FIA World Council on the 6.12.2017.”
