The Italian, despite posting the pole, had to let leadership in the first stint to Nico Verdonck, in the ProSport Racing Aston Martin shared with Rodrigue Gillion, but mastered the second part of the race to beat the Team Virage Aston Martin of Robert Hefler and Philippe Valenza, credited once again of a very good race, and yesterday’s winners Manel Cerqueda-Dani Díaz Varela (Baporo Motorsport Audi).
The Andorran-Spanish duo wins (and leads) in Am, ahead the Porsche cars of their team mate Joan Font and of Mario Cordoni (GDL Racing).
Associated this weekend to Bas Schouten, Niki Leutwiler took 4 th with the PZ Oberer Zürichsee by TFT Porsche, but his consistency puts him on top of the Pro-Am standings and, more importantly, of the overall standings, four points ahead of Festante.
