The personable Swiss driver of Vincenzo Sospiri Racing eventually raced alone, as his team mate Edoardo Liberati was feeling sick this morning following food poisoning. “I could not dream a better start and I am enjoying very much the new series”, said Koller.
VSR rounded the day as the other Lambo Huracan SupeTrofeo of the squad, with Brazilian pair JP Mauro and Rodrigo Toni signed the 1-2 and won among Am cars. Niki Leutwiler, at the wheel of the TFT-prepared Porsche 991 Cup, was an excellent third, at the end of a very lively race. Marc De Fulgencio-Thiago Vivacqua finished fourth for Teo Martín Motorsport, with the McLaren clinching P1 in Silver.
