Progress and results for Academy Motosport- Alex Caffi Motosport

  

A solid weekend for the Italian Team Academy Motosort – Alex Caffi Motosport at the Nacar Whelen Euro Series. After the podiums on Saturday, first day of race,  Sunday's Round 2 was again another successful day starting with a Top 10 on the Euro Nascar PRO with the ninth position conquered by 1997 F1 world champion Jacques Villeneuve on his car #5 and the seventh position overall of the young Frenchman Thomas Ferrando that reached his second podium of the weekend in the Junior class.

Positive results also came from Euro Nascar EN2 with a brilliant third step on the podium for Vladimiros Tziortzis on his #1 Ford Mustang that states” Fantastic race, second podium here this weekend, the team did a fantastic job and now we are already thinking about next race.”

A more difficult race today for Thomas Krasonis on his car #2 that after a good start and demanding overtakes had an overheating brake problem and had to retire.
